How to export your passwords from Apple Passwords Desktop Application

Apple's new password application has made it easier to export all your previously saved passwords at once. Here is the process:

1. Open the Passwords application on your desktop
2. Select 'File' -> Export Passwords (this will export a CSV)

Once you have exported the CSV, open the KryptPass extension in your browser.

1. Select options
2. Import passwords

Once you get to the import passwords screen:

1. Click "Select File" 
2. Select the CSV file you wish to import
3. Click "Sync to KryptPass

Once you receive the "sync complete" screen you can close the window. Your imported passwords should now be available inside the KryptPass extension.

We recommend once your passwords have been imported you delete the CSV file from your computer and empty the trash to ensure this sensitive information does not remain on your computer.
